5-31-20

I am allowed to re-open on June 1st, 2020.  Some of you may not be ready to come back yet, and I completely understand.  There is no rush, I will be here when you are ready. I have been calling and rescheduling folks based on when their original session was.  Please remember, I need to reschedule over 200 appointments and my number of daily sessions is reduced due to requiring extra time between clients now. Please reach out if you need to be seen sooner and have not heard from me. I look forward to getting you back on the table as soon as it’s possible, comfortable and safe for everyone.

Mandatory Regulations:

*Clients must call or text upon arrival and must wait inside your vehicle until you receive the ok from me.

*Clients must agree to the Covid-19 Liability Release Form statements before coming into the building for a session.

*Clients must wear a face mask at all times. The exceptions to this is in the prone (face down) position on the table; when the mask can be removed and a pillowcase in a hammock type pocket can be used. I will have some masks available if you need one.

*I will let you into the building and the treatment room.

*Clients must not touch any doors or objects on the way in.

*I will be wearing a mask at all times and changing it in between each client.

*Water bottles must stay in the car and I can no longer offer you any.

*No walk-in appointments will be allowed.

*Clients must pass an initial temperature check prior to starting the session.

I have also updated my cleaning and sanitizing procedures to include:

*Extra time between appointments so there is adequate time for new protocols

*Installing waterproof barriers between my desk and my treatment area.

*Using EPA approved hospital grade disinfectants that are non toxic and biodegradable to clean all surfaces

These changes are state mandated, and I need to follow them in order to uphold my NH license and liability insurance. I know there are many changes and details to pay attention to, but we will get through this together. If you have any questions about these changes or my cleaning protocols, please feel free to contact me.

* this offer ended at 5pm on 5-31-20 - I go back to work tomorrow, June 1st!!!!!!

To My Family of Clients-

I am offering the chance to purchase future sessions at my old rates to support my business until the economy reopens from the COVID disaster.

No matter how prepared you thought you were for 2020 nobody expected this to happen. I am seeing so many folks change their plans and dreams for their businesses to survive these times. Sadly, in some cases, I am saying goodbye to businesses which I thought would always be here. Since, I can't remotely massage you, or come up with some version of a drive-through curbside knot removal service, I need to remain closed until it is safe.

I saw my last client 30 days ago on March 16th. At that time, I still had 48 more sessions booked in March and over 100 booked in April! Folks were finishing off their Holiday 3-packs and asking about the annual May sale. I was crazy busy, and life was very good. Fast forward to the present and what changes need to be made just for me to survive. Some of the sacrifices I need to make might not be popular, but I am committed to my mission and dedicated to doing whatever it takes to continue. So, here is my plan:

  1. Unfortunately, I need to cancel the May 2020 Sale; someday I hope to offer this again.

  1. Effective upon my reopening, my rates will increase. I had originally planned to increase at the end of the year, but I need to do this sooner.

  1. I am no longer allowing the splitting of time on gift certificates. All purchases prior to today, are exempt from this new policy and can still be split into shorter sessions.

So, what's the good news?

  1. Right now, you can buy as many sessions as you want at pre-quarantine rates through my online store. I will not be updating the prices until I can open my doors again.

  1. I am planning a big reopening and while I wait with you to find out when it will happen, I am continuing my education and learning new ways to heal you. I look forward to sharing my new skills ASAP.

One more change will be to my free massages for Veterans program which is very close to my heart. Over the past 10 years I have donated more than 1000 free massages to Veterans across New Hampshire. Although, the VA stopped supporting the program over 7 years ago, I continued to do it on my own as my way of giving back. During this pandemic, I’ve thought about how I could do even more. Therefore, I have decided to open my program up to today's newly recognized heroes. I will be donating 5 massages each month to Veterans plus 5 massages will now be donated to the health care workers who are bravely facing danger during this crisis. I don't even need to change the name; HANDS FOR HEROES works perfectly for them too! As always, if you qualify for this program but feel you can afford to pay, whatever you contribute pays it forward towards the next heroes' massage.

No one knows when our lives will return to “normal,” but when it does, rest assured, I will be here waiting to offer the same service and compassion you’ve come to expect. Until then, please take care of yourself, your family and friends and remain safe. Thank you for your continued support.

Peace, Love & Healing,

K~ ☮💜🙌

3-23-20:

To all the valued members of my family of clients:

I am reaching out to let you know I too have been closely monitoring our current situation with the outbreak of the Coronavirus.   I am deeply concerned about my role in keeping our community safe! After reviewing the recommendations put forth by the World Health Organization & the leaders of the massage community (AMTA and ABMP), I need to step back from providing massage services at this time.

I will be available to all by text, email & FaceTime. So, if anyone needs self care tips & home remedies, please reach out. I also love to share recipes, jokes, cute kid & pet pics, if you ever need something to brighten your day.

I look forward to seeing you all on the other side of this with clear consciousness & open hearts.

Take care of yourselves & each other. I will keep you updated as events unfold.

PLEASE DRINK LOTS OF WARM DRINKS!!

Please Keep in Touch~ with each other even if it's only virtually.

Peace, Love & Healing,

K~ ☮💜🙌
